The rounded-up amount is transferred as soon as the card payment is debited.

Card payments remain in the "reserved" status until the merchant redeems them. This is indicated by the small clock icon visible next to the card payments. When the clock icon is visible, the rounded-up amount hasn't been transferred yet. 

As soon as the payment is debited, and the clock icon vanishes, the rounded-up amount will also be transferred.
